Born and raised in Calgary, Blair has experienced firsthand the city’s evolution through exponential growth and development. With the ever-changing political landscape and economic uncertainty throughout the city and province, Blair realized how perfect the timing is for her to contribute more to the future of Calgary. Through her work in Washington DC, she developed invaluable skills and strategies that have helped her understand and appreciate the effectiveness of grassroots stakeholder engagement. A City Councillor is one of many members of a team who make decisions that directly affect your day-to-day quality of life. Your Councillor must be an individual who is a nuanced-thinker and strong consensus-builder.

I stand for fiscal conservancy - responsible spending through increased efficiencies and a better respect for taxpayers’ dollars - jobs for Calgarians and innovative, sustainable densification. The City can spend smarter and reduce bloat without degrading the quality of core services and without hurting front-line staff. I have a desire to make a difference in my community and in the lives of business owners. I will be a catalyst for positive change.
